All-in-one business software, integrated by default

Nexcubator is all-in-one business software made of eleven apps, from HR to CRM. Each app does one job well, and all of them read and write the same set of records, so there is nothing to connect, nothing to sync and nothing typed twice. No fragmented processes.

In early access Scheduling, meetings, the AI assistant and OKRs are open to early-access customers now. The other apps are being built with them.

The eleven apps in Nexcubator's business software

Most companies run their business on a dozen separate tools and a lot of copying between them. Nexcubator replaces the copying, not your way of working: start with the app that hurts most, and each one hands off to the next as you add it.

What all-in-one business software should mean

"All-in-one" is often a bundle: several products sold together, each with its own database, kept in step by integrations that someone has to build, monitor and repair. The joins are where processes fragment. A person is hired in one system and set up by hand in three others. A deal is won in the CRM and retyped as a project. Hours are logged in one tool and invoiced from another.

Nexcubator is integrated rather than connected. There is one data model underneath all eleven apps, so a change made in one is already true in the others:

  • Hire someone in nex-hrm and their manager, approvals and access come from nex-org straight away.
  • Win a deal in nex-crm and the project in nex-orbit starts from the same customer, with nothing rewritten.
  • Approve hours in nex-track and the job cost, the margin and the invoice move on the same day.
  • Agree an action in a nex-meet meeting and it lands as a task with an owner and a date.
  • Raise a ticket in nex-help and it sits on the customer record the account manager already reads.

The how it works page follows one piece of work through every step, and What is Nexcubator? explains the whole idea in one read.

Configured, not coded

Every organisation is shaped differently, so the software has to bend to you rather than the other way round. In Nexcubator, business users define the entities, fields, hierarchy, roles, approvals and access in the app, or by typing the change in plain English. The change is live on the fly: no data re-import, no redeployment, no database scripts and no developer. Developers are needed only for what is truly new.

What that means for an implementation

  • Consultants configure; they do not build.
  • Weeks of development turn into days of configuration, testing and rollout.
  • Structure changes are tested against real situations before they go live, and can be rolled back.
  • User acceptance testing can run as often as you like, backed by automated regression tests every time data changes.

Your existing data comes in through nex-calibrate in whatever format it is in today, and your structure is set up in nex-org.

Integrated business software compared with separate tools

The difference shows up in the work between the apps, not inside any one of them.

All-in-one business software FAQs

What is all-in-one business software?

Software that covers the main processes of a business, such as HR, projects, time and billing, meetings, scheduling, support and CRM, in one product. Nexcubator goes further than a bundle: its eleven apps share one set of records, so nothing has to be synchronised or typed twice between them.

Do I have to use all eleven apps?

No. Start with the app that solves your most pressing problem and add others when you are ready. Each app works on its own, and each one hands off to the next as you switch it on, because they already share the same records.

Is Nexcubator an ERP?

It covers much of what companies buy an ERP for, from people and projects to billing and customers, but it is configured rather than customised. Business users shape the data model, structure and approvals themselves in the app, so implementation takes days of configuration rather than weeks of development.

How does the AI assistant fit in?

nex-genie works across all eleven apps. It answers questions from your own records, drafts replies, notes and plans, and proposes changes. A person approves anything that changes a record, so nothing changes silently. It is a premium add-on to the subscription.

Can we bring our existing data?

Yes. nex-calibrate takes your spreadsheets and exports in whatever format they are in, with no import template. You map the columns, add any entities or fields your organisation needs, and check the result before any record is created.

Which apps are available today, and where is data hosted?

Scheduling, meetings, the AI assistant and OKRs are in early access; the other apps are being built with early-access customers. Data is hosted in the EU by default, or in the region you prefer. See pricing and security for details.
